It is noteworthy that the informal sector is accountable for 58% of the total plastic waste that is collected and recycled worldwide (Lau <em>et al<\/em>., 2020).<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This circular economy methodology encompasses activities related to plastic recycling that salvage plastic waste from the environment.
