73% of utilization: a collective performance
One of the most relevant milestones in the environmental management of Atlantis Plaza is to have reached a 73% for solid waste utilization. This progress would not be possible without the commitment of tenants, customers, visitors and strategic allieswho have actively contributed to this purpose.
Achieving these results is also thanks to the generation of awareness, therefore Atlantis has implemented a solid environmental training and awareness program aimed at tenants, suppliers, collaborators, visitors and the neighboring community. Each year, the following are taught approximately 20 hours of training through workshops, campaigns and training that promote the culture of recycling and correct separation at the source.

Inspiring results:
Among the main achievements that made this distinction possible, the following stand out:
- 132,000 kg of recyclable waste recovered per year.
- 466 tons of organic waste processed: Atlantis has established important alliances with organizations such as Bio Organics (for the transformation of organic waste into compost), and Ecology Victoria (for the management of recyclable waste).
- More than 40 differentiated waste baskets for organics, usable and non-usable.
- Post-consumption at the service of all, where electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), batteries, used vegetable oil, expired medicines, pesticide containers and, soon, pesticide containers will be collected. collection of used clothing, becoming a key point to prevent these hazardous wastes from ending up in the landfill or contaminating the environment.
