Cacique El Centro Comerciallocated in Bucaramanga, has marked a milestone in the region by becoming the first Zero Garbage shopping center in eastern Colombiaconsolidating its leadership in sustainability and environmental commitment.
During 2024, it achieved an impressive 97% actual recyclingefficiently managing 185 tons of solid waste and transforming 47 tons of organic waste into six tons of compostthanks to a management system focused on circular economy and co-responsibility.
This achievement enabled him to obtain the international certification of the Zero Waste Management System at Gold level.granted by Icontecpositioning itself as a model to follow in the country.

The efficiency of Cacique's waste management not only represents a technical achievement, but also a cultural transformation at all levels of its operation. This result was possible thanks to the articulation of tenants, visitors, operating personnel and strategic allies, who have taken an active role in the construction of a cleaner and more responsible environment.
