In addition, we will address the multiple benefits that this model offers for sustainability reporting and impact generation.

Sustainable transformation: Inspiring leadership through success stories

An inspiring example of how companies can implement this model in their operations is the case of Productos Ramo S.A., under the leadership of its president, Bernardo Serna Gámez, a Mexican who has integrated a sustainability strategy, reflecting his focus on innovation and transformation.

By Sandra Pinzón, CEO of Global Zero Waste

At Global Zero WasteWe firmly believe that corporate sustainability is not just an aspiration, but a tangible roadmap for the future. Soon, we will have the privilege of welcoming industry professionals, environmental managers, sustainability consultants and business leaders who will join us for our Masterclass: "Practical Applications of Zero Waste Management System in Organizations". This space will be developed for those seeking a more efficient, conscious and aligned resource management with corporate responsibility and compliance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 2030 agenda.

Is it really possible to achieve Zero Waste goals?

The recurring question is: "Is it really possible to achieve Zero Waste goals?". My answer is yes. It is not an immediate destination, but a process that requires continuous improvement, which poses constant challenges for its maintenance and success, hence the Zero Waste Management System Certification is based on international models, in the following standards ISO 59000 standards and different schools of thought of the Circular Economy. In addition, it provides a robust methodological structure, measurable and assessable by a third party, which with autonomy and impartiality guarantees the certification process.

Competitive advantages in the job market according to LinkedIn report.

Today, more than ever, the planet needs people with the technical knowledge necessary to make processes more circular, according to a recent LinkedIn reportBy 2030, there will be a 20% deficit of workers with green skills, hence professionals who acquire these specialized skills will have a competitive advantage in the labor market.

Throughout this training space, we will break down each aspect of the Zero Waste model, from the context of the organization to performance evaluation and continuous improvement and how transforming waste into resources is possible under a Management System focused on material flows, value chains and life cycle closures.

Bernardo Sernachemical engineer with a Master's degree in Business Administration from INALDE Business Schoolwith a solid track record in the food industry, holding leadership positions, has assumed the presidency of Bouquet in August 2020. His arrival marked a new stage for the company, focused not only on tradition, but also on sustainability and strengthening the organizational culture.

The experience of Bouquet will be presented at the Masterclass, along with other cases such as the waste reduction strategies of Central Brewerythe sustainability initiatives of Daviviendathe projects of the University of La Sabana in circular economy and Surtigas' actions in energy transformation. These real examples will provide invaluable insight and concrete tools to lead the transformation in any operation.

A sustainable future is collaborative

This Masterclass will be a collaborative space for learning. We encourage you to actively participate and contact our experts, ask your questions and share your experiences. Every initiative towards Zero Waste results is a fundamental pillar for a sustainable future.
