The Recognition Process
Four steps, from a first contact with the programme to the external, independent validation of your event.
Get to know the programme
Arrange a meeting with a REZW technical specialist, who reviews your event and sets out the steps. The requirements of the standard are learnt through the courses or on joining the programme.
Join the programme
Provide your event details, receive the commercial proposal and acquire the Zero Waste Events International Standard. The assigned expert activates the service and schedules the work plan.
Implement the Standard
Bring in a team, in-house or external to the production, with skills in Zero Waste Events, circular economy and waste management, to meet the Standard and gain efficiency.
Earn the recognition
Schedule the external, independent validation, obtain the category matching your level of compliance, and keep improving your Zero Waste model.
Recognition Categories
The Zero Waste Events International Standard grades an event’s performance across five levels. This is not the Zero Waste Management System scale: they are two different standards.
