Good practice and recommendations for a Sustainable Urban Transport policy in Colombia

This document responds to the need to establish guidelines and action plans for developing public policies, regulatory frameworks and institutions that promote sustainable transport in the country, with a positive impact on climate change and air quality in urban centres. This research also proposes the development of business models in the private sector and lines of research linked to academia.

We therefore hope that interested readers will find in this book a tool that makes it easier to reflect on these subjects, and that it serves as inspiration for moving towards models of sustainable cities that include innovative proposals and solutions to the challenges created by climate change, not only in Colombia but worldwide.
