Tecnosur SAS - Industrias TQ: 90 years of history crowned with Gold Zero Waste excellence

A brilliant example of that philosophy is Tecnosur SAS - Industrias TQ (Tecnoquímicas), a company with an impressive 90-year track record in the market, 45 of them dedicated to producing high-quality nappies under its well-known Winny brand.

On 12 February 2025, that record of excellence was recognised with a monumental achievement: the official presentation of its certificate in the Gold category of the Zero Waste Management System. This international recognition, endorsed by Icontec, validates not only its commitment but its excellence in meeting the highest standards of sustainability and waste management.

A benchmark in the industry with tangible impact

Industrias TQ is a giant in its sector, currently covering 70% of national nappy production. Behind that market leadership lies a deep focus on sustainability that has driven significant transformations. Thanks to the implementation of the Zero Waste Management System, the company has achieved:

• Significant material reductions: Optimising its processes to consume fewer resources at source.
• Maintained quality: Showing that environmental efficiency does not compromise the standard of its products.
• Close to 80% recycling: An impressive figure that reflects highly effective waste management and a real commitment to the circular economy.
