Central Cervecera de Colombia has reached an incredible sustainability milestone, achieving two prestigious certifications awarded by ICONTEC: Zero Waste in the Gold Category and Carbon Neutrality. 🌍 This recognition reflects the brewer's constant commitment to the circular economy and environmental sustainability.
On 27 January, we had the honour of accompanying ICONTEC at the official presentation of this important achievement, represented by our Technical Director Diego Romero Torres and our Certification Director Alberto Diaz.
We congratulate in particular the whole Central Cervecera team, headed by Felipe Mejia, General Manager, Juan Alejandro Vásquez, Operations Director, Diana Paola Naranjo Antolinez, Environmental Management Lead, and Martha Toloza, Management Systems Specialist, along with every member of staff who made it possible for Central Cervecera to become the first brewery in Latin America to obtain these certifications. A genuine example of commitment to the environment and to the brewing industry!
This is a success story that inspires the whole industry, and all of us!
