The Zero Waste model keeps consolidating in Latin America and the Caribbean
In this article
The expansion of the Zero Waste Management System continues to set milestones across the region, and we are proud to highlight the progress of ZEROS, our strategic partner in Brazil. Their leadership has been key to implementing this methodology in its Portuguese version, making the model easier to access and adopt in the local context.
Thanks to this collaborative effort, 21 organisations and 27 new facilities are joining our affiliate community, all committed to responsible management of materials and waste and aligned with the principles of the circular economy and corporate sustainability.
A warm welcome to the new organisations that are part of this transformation:
Blau Farmacêutica S.A. (Head office Cotia/SP, Branch São Paulo/SP and Branch Anápolis/GO)
Laboratorio Químico Farmacêutico Bergamo LTDA (Head office Taboão/SP and Branch Caucaia/SP)
We thank each of them for betting on sustainability and being part of a conscious, efficient and environmentally responsible business transformation.

🤝 About ZEROS
ZEROS is a Brazilian start-up that drives sustainable impact methodologies, bringing together standards, education and technology to help companies and consultants understand, access and prepare to meet the requirements of high-level environmental and social certifications.
In today's context, waste management has become a critical factor for operational performance and corporate reputation. More than ever, the way an organisation manages its materials can make the difference between moving towards sustainability and falling behind.
That is why the launch of the Strategic Partnership between Global Zero Waste and ZEROS is a milestone for the business sector in Brazil. This collaboration, in place since January 2025, brings together the experience of two global benchmarks in the Zero Waste movement, with the aim of accelerating the adoption of sustainable practices, promoting efficiency in waste management and offering innovative solutions to today's environmental challenges.
